AUTHOR AND SPEAKER
Professor Nitasha Ramparsad considers herself an 'Everyday Feminist'. She is an activist and practical academic offering critical insights into how everyday actions can change the gender narrative. Nitasha is the Director of JD Legacy Projects, an organization aimed at addressing gender inequality and inclusivity.
Too often, academic literature is boxed and presented for specific audiences and does not reach your everyday person faced with gender inequality and social justice issues.
This website serves as a space to offer practical solutions and everyday guidance on gender and social justice mainstreaming which is a strategy used to attain equality.
Prof Ramparsad won an award for Cultural Contribution from the African Union at The African Women in Media conference, which forms part of Agenda 2063. She is humbled and honoured to receive this award.

TESTIMONIALS
“I used your book as not only a conversation starter but in a fun sensory based lesson where they had to 'draw' in their own clouds, made from flour, what they received your book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We read it to the children and they responded so well. We even did some cloud glazing with them after andwanted to do."
